one learns
After some time, One learns the subtle difference, Between holding a hand, And chaining a soul, And one learns, That love doesn't mean to lie down, And company doesn't mean security, And one begins to learn..., That kisses are not contracts, And gifts are not promises, And one begins to accept its defeats, With the head up and the eyes open, And one begins to build, All its ways in the today, Because tomorrow's land, Is too uncertain for plans..., And futures have a way to, Fall half way through.
And after some time, One learns that if it is too much, Even little heat of the sun burns, So one plants its own garden, And decorates its own soul, Instead of waiting for somebody to bring him flowers.
And one learns that really one can hold, That one really is strong, That one really is worth, And one learns and learns...
And with every day one learns.
